Allweather Roof loves to support their staff and in turn the staff families and sports activities.
This year, Allweather Roof proudly sponsored the High School Baseball Team, The Anoka Bobbers. Lynn Telander, the dedicated Office Manager for Allweather Roof, has a personal connection to the team, as her son Tanner plays baseball on the Bobbers.
“Allweather likes to support recreational teams and things like that. So I had asked them if they would be interested in helping Tanner’s baseball team this year. And they were more than willing to do so,” shared Lynn. She added, “With their sponsorship, we were able to get nicer jerseys this season and it helped pay for some of the fees as well, for the whole team.” This support not only provided tangible benefits like improved uniforms but also fostered a stronger sense of community and teamwork for the young athletes.
The Anoka Bobbers demonstrated their dedication and skill throughout the season. They capped off their regular season with a dominant performance in their final game, beating Hastings at home with a remarkable final score of 17 to 2. This impressive victory solidified their exceptional season record of 10 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie.
Their outstanding performance has earned the Bobbers the top seed in their division, positioning them favorably as they now enter the playoffs. Their regular season began towards the end of May, and the players are ready to carry their momentum into the postseason, aiming for a championship title. The community, along with the staff and families of Allweather Roof, will be cheering them on as they strive for further success.
