Allweather Roof  has been a cornerstone in the Minnesota commercial roofing industry since 1925, providing a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of commercial clients.

What Commercial Roofing Services Does Allweather Roof Offer in Minnesota?

Allweather Roof specializes in a variety of commercial roofing services designed to cater to the needs of building owners, property managers, and contractors. Their offerings include:

  1. Re-roofing Services: Comprehensive solutions for replacing or overlaying a failing roof system with new, high-performance materials to restore structural integrity, improve energy efficiency, and provide long-term protection for the building’s assets.

  2. Commercial Roof Repair: Timely and effective repairs to address leaks and other issues such as punctures, failed flashing, or localized leaks—to provide an immediate, cost-effective fix that prevents further water infiltration and preserves the building’s safety without the need for a full system replacement.

  3. Skylight Installation: Enhancing natural light in commercial spaces through expertly installed skylights involving the strategic integration of high-performance glazing systems into the roof structure to maximize natural daylighting, which reduces electrical energy consumption and enhances occupant well-being while maintaining the building’s thermal envelope and watertight integrity.

  4. Commercial Roof Maintenance & Inspections: Regular commercial roof maintenance and inspections—typically performed bi-annually in the spring and fall—serve as a proactive strategy to identify minor issues like leaks, ponding water, or membrane damage before they escalate into costly repairs, ultimately extending the roof’s lifespan by up to 50%.

  5. Aerial Inspections: Commercial drone roof inspections leverage high-resolution aerial photography and infrared thermography to safely and rapidly identify hidden anomalies—such as moisture trapped within insulation, thermal leaks, and structural weaknesses—that are invisible to the naked eye, providing a comprehensive, data-driven assessment of a building’s health.

These services are crucial for maintaining the integrity and functionality of commercial properties, ensuring they remain safe and efficient.

How Does Allweather Roof Handle Commercial Roof Installation?

The installation process at Allweather Roof is meticulous and thorough, ensuring that every project meets high standards of quality. The steps involved include:

  • Preliminary Planning and Assessment: Understanding the specific needs of the building and assessing the existing roof condition.
  • Material Selection: Choosing the right materials based on durability, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Quality Assurance: Implementing strict quality control measures throughout the installation process to ensure longevity and performance.

This structured approach guarantees that clients receive a roof that not only meets their immediate needs but also stands the test of time.

Emphasizing the critical role of quality control in roofing projects, external evaluations often highlight the need for diligent oversight during construction.

Contractor Quality Control for Commercial Roofing

Special requirements for contractor quality control CQC of built-up roofing were written and incorporated into the contract for construction of three tactical equipment maintenance shops. The site was visited during the construction of each shop to observe the roofing application and evaluate the effectiveness of the CQC specification. It was found that the specification is not observed as much as it should be. The quality of the CQC function depends to a great extent on the capabilities of the CQC representative and the number of other duties he must perform. CQC can best be improved by ensuring that the quality assurance representative spends enough time on the roof during its construction to note and correct deficiencies in a timely manner and to insure that the CQC representative is performing properly.
